I took all of these with my iPhone, but some of them (you can probably easily tell which ones) were taken through my pair of Celestron 10x50 binoculars. 🔭 So glad that I brought them with me because lots of the animals were hiding due to the rain and I still got to see most of their beautiful faces!
My favorite animal was probably the hippo. The one I got a picture of up close of is Lilypad. She was a real sweetie and kept wanting treats from the zoo keeper who was talking to me. I love her and would die for her. 🦛
I also liked seeing the wolves a lot. They look just like normal dogs but they were so focused! 🐺 The birds really captured my attention. 🦜 There are several bird enclosures where you can just stand there and hear the birds all talking to each other. 🗣 Also uhhhh, feeding Rosie the penguin was so much fun!!! 🐧 There's a video of it if you can find it! 🔍
Unfortunately it was raining and pretty cold the whole time I was there so none of the primates had come out, even by the time I was heading out in the afternoon! 🐒 🦍 I'm glad they got to sleep in, 💤 but I'll have to go back to get some 📷 of them.
